1) Start taking pre-natal vitamins

The pre-natal vitamins are what will ensure that the baby is healthy and has all of the necessary nutrients. It’s also what will protect you from certain health problems.

2) Consider what foods might be harmful for your baby

Some examples of what not to eat when pregnant are as follows: raw seafood, raw eggs and unpasteurized milk

3) Make sure that what you eat is healthy

A few great healthy foods that you should eat when pregnant include:

  • lean protein, like fish and poultry.
  • vegetables and fruits- they’re what provide the baby with its vitamins and nutrients.

4) Do not smoke or drink alcohol while pregnant

Do not smoke when pregnant. Smoking can be dangerous for the babies and you. Also drink alcohol in moderation. If possible. Not at all.

5) Get plenty of rest

Mothers need rest while pregnant so they can rest physically and mentally. Rest is what provides the mothers with enough energy stores to go about each day without feeling drained
